Our product is the Hickman Temple A.M.E. Church, and our sponsor is Jesus Christ!

We invite you to browse our web pages and learn about us. We believe that the most important thing a person can do in this life is to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe according to John 10:10, that God wants us to have and enjoy an abundant life. Too that end our church exists to first, exalt the Savior, then to equip believers and to evangelize those who are lost, to heal the broken hearted, deliver the captives, open the eyes of the blind.

John 10:10New International Version (NIV)

Seeing Others The Right Way

We live in a time when people are so critical, and faultfinding, and judgemental when it comes to others. A Christian is to see others in the right way. In the Bible when John Mark decided to go and visit his family. It didn't sit well with Paul. Later when Barnabas wanted to take John Mark on a mission trip, Paul exploded, there was a contention, they parted ways. As Paul got older and wiser he learned to add grace in how he saw people. 2 Timothy 4: 10,11 He says take John Mark he is profitable for me for ministry.

Three important lessons are here:
(1). Always be willing to give someone a second chance: This is what God does for you. When you extend grace you can get hurt or disappointed., but if you are going to be Christlike it's a risk you must take. (2). Don't measure everybody by your standards and goals: The truth is , they may not be called to do what you're to do. Or they may have been called in a different way. Don't make your personal preferences a precondition for loving, accepting and working with someone.

(3). When you look for the best in others you usually find it: Do not devalue what's in others, the good in others is missed because of having a focus on looking for the bad rather than the good.Looking through the eyes of criticism, judging, you only see the flaws in people. Your responsibility as a believer is to look at people through eyes of grace , to see others the right way. God looked beyond your faults and imperfections, and saw purpose in you . Do you see others the right way.

.Scripture for the day:

Matthew 7:7 Judge not , that you be not
judged, for with what judgement you give you will be judged by the same measure.
